Adam started to feel emasculated and thete was no way for it to end well. Adam was ok but it's obvious the show went on fine without him. Tim is a good business man and he never needed Adam. Adam believed his fan mail and that he was more important to the show than he ever really was. It was always Tim's business and he was never going to take much input from anyone else. He wanted to assert himself in front of his wife and I'm sure she was encouraging him to take more control. Adam was married and wasn't the top dog in the house. Just keep in mind there were a lot of adults locked down in a hiuse together inder really uncertain and scary times. Sounds like Tim learned that early enough to prevent a complete catastrophe.

Building a business that tries to have the good sides of both a hippy commune and a capitalistic enterprise was a bad move and destined for some sort of failure. I'd have to know the numbers to have a stronger opinion on that one. Don't think Tim should have done that and it's kinda a bad look. Maybe Tim signed a bad contract with Adam to start things off and reneged on his word once he talked to more experienced business folks. Adam seems to approach it from a more emotional perspective than realizing his role in the show is ultimately a business relationship separate from his relationship as a friend. Tim also completely effed up his ability to settle things professionally between himself, Lydia, and Adam. Tim still liked him as a friend but got awkward from a business perspective for multiple reasons, Lydia being the tipping point. Sounds like Adam saw himself as something nearing a partner in the Timcast IRL product and Tim saw him as one of a few personalities on the show.
